have installed musicip now what????

hi, hope you can help

i've installed music ip and it shows it starting before squeezebox server. i've also configured squeezebox server to start before musicip and that seems to be working fine.

however, I don't have any music in squeezebox server. what am I doing wrong?

Have you added your music to MusicIP?

Start your internet browser and type http://IPAddressOfYourServer:/10002 into the address bar. This will start the MusicIP Interface.

Next you need to add your music by typing in the location of your music and pressing the "add music" button. Note this location is in relation to the root of your server.
I find the easiest way to make sure I've got the music location correct is by typing the "ls /location_of_you_music" command into Putty. If it comes back with my music folders then I simply copy and paste the location into the music location box on the MusicIP UI.

Once MusicIP has pulled in all your music you can then get it to analyze it.
