Ubuntu Home Media Server question 4 u

I wanted to us a dell form factor PC as a Ubuntu Home Media Server on my home network in my house. however if I am running another PC with windows 8.1 pro 64 bit on it with 7 hard drives( one is the c drive/system OS) in it is it possible to add the other 6 hard drives to the Ubuntu Home Media Server throw samba or another tool since they are all windows(NTFS 2 TB drives with data on them already) just wondering. I could do this throw whs2011 but was trying to do this with Ubuntu Home Media Server instead, thanks in advance Adam

Hi Adam,

Yes you can do that. Better would be to reformat them as ext4 or similar but they'd work as NTFS
