New Boot Drive

Hi Guys,
I set my system up with a small hard drive for the OS, using LVM to split my data over 3 large disks, just in case the unthinkable happened. Well, it has, my Boot drive has failed, but swapping the new one in, I am having a few difficulties. When I try to reinstall the OS and get to the Partition Disks stage, I am getting the following error:
"Volume Group name already in use: The Volume Group name used to automatically partition using LVM is already in use. Lowering the priority for configuration quaestions will allow you to specify an alternative name."
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Sean
