Hi Ian, the forum won't allow me to PM you back so I'm posting here. I deleted the Advanced Format Drive post after experiencing world of difficulty trying to get these drives to mount properly in an LVM setup. I'll post another message when I get a chance detailing where the issue stands... but seeing as the original post oriented around a solution that causes more problems I deleted it. As it stands, I didn't want other users following my advice only to encounter the same issues I'm having.

OK, thought I had one problem (with your post getting lost) but it seems I've got another (PMs don't work)!

Thanks for the info re the Advanced Format Drives and I applaud your honesty in pulling your post once you found a problem with your advice.
