Hi all,
Out of curiosity, how do most of you get media onto your server (e.g. ripping etc.)? What are your preferred applications for this and what are your preferred file formats for audio/video/other?

Hi all,
I took a look at a few posts in the forum and it seems at least a few people have used SSDs for their system drive. I am going down that route as well. Is there anything special/different to keep in mind when installing Linux on an SSD (i.e. in terms of configuration options etc.)?

Hi, First off, thanks for building this guide . It's one of the few detailed step-by-step guides out there on how to build a media server. This will save me hours and hours!
