Re: Raspberry Pi
Hi n2o2diver
I like the look of http://www.geek.com/articles/chips/the-punnet-a-raspberry-pi-case-you-can-download-and-print-2012072/
I guess it won't be massively long lasting but it is a neat idea.

Re: Networking
Hi Ian I hear you about Maplins pricing The thinking behind to sat feeds in the bedrooms was really a case of, run it once. If I need a second feed at some point in the future am I going to be cursing not having two fitted in the first place. I guess I will get the guy to quote both ways and see how...

Networking
Hi all We have bought our first house (yay), and I need to start to think about planning the network hardware. What are peoples thoughts, experiences. The current thinking is Gigabit data to every room but how many? What schemes have people here used in the past. I have started a list of things that...

Re: UBUNTU 12.04LTS
FPP I'm with you. I think I will be using the excuse of "It's all packed ready for our house move" for a bit until things have settled down.
Andy what was wrong with XCFE? I've never used it, is it really that much worse than Gnome?

Re: UBUNTU 12.04LTS
Saw this link in a tweet from Ubuntu Geek

Don't know if it's of any use, unfortunately I'm not in a position to try at the minute.

Re: UBUNTU 12.04LTS
I'm downloading the image at the minute. I have to admit my plan was to wipe and install from fresh. I'm still to much of a newbie to risk something getting taffeled during an upgrade. Much easier to start with a clean slate (assuming everything works out the tin). Yorman did you sort out your probl...
