Re: About the FlexRAID pages in the Howto...

yes, the installer puts FlexRaid on a path something similar to the following (I do not have the exact since I deleted after I moved things around)

/var/lib/flexraid/OpenEgg.org/FlexRAID-2.0/

Re: About the FlexRAID pages in the Howto...

The HowTo does not present FlexRAID correctly. What is stated will install but it will not run. The reason is that the version 2.x uses a slightly different directory structure for the installation. Re: Temperature scripts ....

well ... I am wrong again. The reason why the messages stopped was that I did not notice when I rebooted the server that it had stalled when one of the hard drives was not properly detected. Fixed that and the problem is back... This is the script #!/bin/bash echo "JOB RUN AT $(date)" echo...

Re: Temperature scripts ....

Not sure if this is relevant or not but I have noticed that if I run the script from putty I get the message

"Both CPU cores are within limits"

and no error message. The message does not appear on the email copy sent out when running from cron.

Re: Temperature scripts ....

However ... I am getting an error message when running from cron. It reads

30: Syntax error: redirection unexpected

Have I missed editing something?

Re: Temperature scripts ....

Just to let you know that there is a delay ... fell asleep at the k/b yesterday and hit a problem today. It looks like the file was created with a Windows machine and that has some encoding which is affecting what I see -- the file is all double spaced which means that it does not look right and gen...
