Re: Using symlinks with the NTV550
Howdy, I am attempting to get the symlinks working on my server, but no joy! When I run the script via Putty I get the following error serveradmin@Server:~$ sudo /home/serveradmin/MyScripts/symlinks.sh /home/serveradmin/MyScripts/symlinks.sh: 1: POSE:: not found /home/serveradmin/MyScripts/symlinks....

Re: Virtual Machine Setup
I would like to copy the whole previous install over to the VM, but still don't have my linux legs under me. Is that possible? I don't know if I have enough space, unless I don't copy over all the data files.

Virtual Machine Setup
Have some questions on setting up Virtual Machines. 1- Can I set it up to use part of a current partition? 2- Should I divide the resources (CPU, memory...) among the three or so planned VM's? 3- When I install server it says partition already has LVM logical volumes. Is this the current OS? and if ...

Reload to 12.04, Synaptic Not Working
Greetings, Thanks again for a great tutorial on building media servers!!! I have just put in a 60GB SSD for OS as well as upgraded to 12.04 Server. The updated site was great! When I hit the Synaptic section and try to log into it nothing happens. Is there something that I missed? I have had to relo...
